Returns may be accepted within 7 days of receipt in the original, unused, undamaged condition. Additionally, I ask that the buyer contact me with the intent to return within 4 days of receipt of item. Refund can be given as credit for further purchases or as money back when the undamaged item is received.
Shipping costs are not refundable for purchases.
Poppies raise their heads in my garden each spring on twisting stems that cause me to wonder how they possibly hold up the bloom! The flower holds not only symbolic patriotic meaning but also heralds in increased daylight hours and warmer temperatures for northern Pennsylvania. The stylized blooms and seed pods filling this airy silk scarf were drawn by hand and painted in the PA Wilds using a silk painting technique known as "serti". This scarf of colorful blossoms on a sienna background includes eye-catching contrasting pops of blue. Once painted, the artist wraps each scarf separately and sets the dyes permanently to the fibers. She has chosen to use steam to set the dyes and water soluble resist to avoid the use of chemicals for all of her silk art.
