This Lazy Susan is made of curly maple, a popular hardwood found here in the forests of northern Pennsylvania.   Curly maple has a fascinating wavy grain that creates a unique visual appearance.

This Lazy Susan also has decorative stripes of Padouk, a tropical hardwood from Africa and Purpleheart, an exotic wood from South America.  Their bright colors contrast nicely with the pale maple wood.
