About Us

The PA Wilds Center for Entrepreneurship, Inc. (PA Wilds Center) is a 501(c)(3) nonproit whose mission is to integrate conservation and economic development in a way that strengthens and inspires communities in the Pennsylvania Wilds.

Does It Matter Where the Stuff You Buy Comes From?

We think so. And that’s why we developed the PA Wilds Marketplace.

Proudly made in the PA Wilds, our products celebrate the beauty, bounty and rural traditions of our region.
And you can too! Through this Marketplace, you support our small businesses and our rural communities.

Visit our Shops

Products made by PA Wilds artisans can also be found at stores called PA Wilds Conservation Shops. These shops are tied to state parks in the PA Wilds, providing opportunities for you to “take home a piece of the PA Wilds” while exploring some of the region’s top destinations.

PA Wilds Conservation Shops

PA Wilds Conservation Shop at Kinzua Bridge State Park

Allegheny National Forest + Surrounds

The inaugural PA Wilds Conservation Shop opened at Kinzua Bridge State Park in August 2016. After exploring the height and hikes surrounding the Kinzua Skywalk, meander through the visitor center to visit the Conservation Shop and enjoy educational displays about the location’s history. This is a must-see destination in the Allegheny National Forest + Surrounds landscape of the PA Wilds. The PA Wilds Conservation Shop at Kinzua Bridge offers many products that are specific to the area, such as t-shirts, postcards, magnets, pins and artwork that reflect the history and beauty of the bridge, along with many other products from around the PA Wilds region. This gift-giving destination is perfect for all kinds of travelers, whether you live in the PA Wilds or are just visiting. The visitor center is open year-round with seasonal hours.

PA Wilds Conservation Shop at Leonard Harrison State Park

Pine Creek Valley + PA Grand Canyon

The second PA Wilds Conservation Shop opened at Leonard Harrison in June 2021. It's a perfect starting point for your trip to the Pine Creek Valley + PA Grand Canyon landscape of the PA Wilds. Pop into the shop before or after taking in the sights from the east rim of the PA Grand Canyon. From there, try hiking down to the valley floor to witness waterfalls along the way and explore the Pine Creek Rail Trail. The PA Wilds Conservation Shop at Leonard Harrison is open seasonally and offers products such as t-shirts, magnets, postcards, books, patches, and artwork that are inspired by the thrilling beauty of the PA Grand Canyon area and PA Wilds region.

PA Wilds Conservation Shop at Marienville Four Seasons Trailhead

Cook Forest & the Ancients

The third PA Wilds Conservation Shop opened summer of 2024 at Marienville. It is made possible through a partnership with Jenks Township Supervisors, who own and manage the restored train station at the Four Seasons Trailhead, and the PA Wilds Center for Entrepreneurship, Inc., the nonprofit that manages the gift shops.

Experience Our Landscapes

The PA Wilds region is a large region covering a quarter of the Commonwealth. Our communities share a rich lumber, conservation and cultural heritage. However, there are also sub-regions in the PA Wilds, known as Landscapes, that have their own unique character and place-specific experiences. Each of our Landscapes has its own remarkable assets and identity. And they can make your trip planning (and shopping) even easier!

New Look & New Vendors - We hope you enjoy our new Marketplace!

We recently transitioned from an online gift shop to a maker marketplace. This means that instead of only selling products from PA Wilds Conservation Shops, various artisans and craftspeople from the PA Wilds now sell on our platform with us! (That’s why it’s now the PA Wilds Marketplace!)  This equates to more awesome products for you and more opportunities for our rural makers. Please bear with us as we finalize this new ecommerce platform, and have fun meeting our first batch of participating artisan makers!
