Returns may be accepted within 7 days of receipt in the original, unused, undamaged condition. Additionally, I ask that the buyer contact me with the intent to return within 4 days of receipt of item. Refund can be given as credit for further purchases or as money back when the undamaged item is received.
Shipping costs are not refundable for purchases.
Inspired by sunshine and the bright beautiful late summer dahlias that grow outside the artist's kitchen door. This one-of-a-kind silk scarf is hand painted using dyes which allows the silk to retain its naturally flowing "hand" and remain soft to the touch. The 8 x 54" scarf designed and painted by Smethport, Pennsylvania artist Julie Mader has been steam-set and is hand washable.
Once painted, Julie wraps each scarf separately and sets the dyes permanently to the fibers. She has chosen to use steam to set the dyes and water soluble resist to avoid the use of chemicals for all of her silk art.
100% silk. Hand wash. 8" wide, 54" long*.
*measurement may vary slightly due to shrinkage during the dye setting process
