This Modern design features a collection of SDAJ artisan made clay beads. The collection includes a Kinzua Captured bead, faux wood sculpted bird bead and coordinating spacer beads. Created for every day wear this very versatile piece pairs well with jeans or casual dress.
Multiple layers of neutral colored polymer clay is built up to create a faux wood grain cane that is then thinly sliced, layered over a core bead when sculpting the bird and remnants of the wood railings from the original Kinzua Bridge are encased in translucent clay and then baked off and buffed.
Strung on leather then finished off with a copper hammer formed closure.
This piece is inspired by the natural world.
