What's included:

  • Pennsylvania Wilds Outdoor Discovery Atlas by PA Wilds Conservation Shop - The 50+ page PA Wilds Outdoor Discovery Atlas is the go-to guide for people looking to explore the wonders of the PA Wilds. Serving as a print companion to pawilds.com, the PA Wilds Outdoor Discovery Atlas provides travel tips and planning resources, ideas on things to see and do throughout the region, and navigable maps. It also attempts to underscore our region’s conservation legacy and nods to some private industry partners who practice sustainability in their businesses and helped make the Atlas a reality!

The PA Wilds Outdoor Discovery Atlas was sourced and made entirely in-region! The design work, photography, and printing were all completed by PA Wilds artisans and businesses. Even the paper was sourced in the PA Wilds! This created important work opportunities on our rural landscape and allowed locals to tell the conservation story of our region while being stewards themselves.

  • The "Doe" Handmade Artisan Soap Bar by The Wild Botanica

Artisan soap inspired by the flora, fauna, and wild folks of the PA Wilds.

HANDMADE SOAP FOR YOUR WHOLE HERD.

Description: The “Doe” Handmade Artisan Soap Bar is one of three soaps in the “Oh Deer” series: “Handmade soap for your whole herd.” It was inspired by Pennsylvania’s state animal, the white-tailed deer, which continues to flourish in forests across the region. This scent will leave you feeling graceful and alluring. Wander through the serene meadow and prepare yourself for the tranquil day ahead!

Scent: Top notes of wild berries; middle notes of honeysuckle, gardenia, and jasmine; with base notes of amber, caramel, sandalwood, and vanilla.

A single, wrapped bar of artisanal, small-batch, cold-process, handmade soap formulated with sustainably sourced plant-based oils and butters, colored with rose clay and scented with a fragrant oil blend. We never use animal fats (like lard or tallow) and are cruelty-free. This bar is vegan/vegan-friendly. It is also preservative, phthalate, and palm free.

Ingredients: Shea Butter, Olive Oil, Water, Coconut Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, Fragrance*, & Rose Clay.

Directions: Wet soap, work lather directly onto skin, wash cloth, or loofah. Rinse clean. Keep soap dry between uses.

Warning: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Spot test first and discontinue use immediately if sensitivity, irritation, or allergy occurs.

*In compliance with FDA regulations under the Fair Packaging and Labeling Act, the official term “fragrance” is used in our ingredient declaration and refers to both fragrance oils and plant-based essential oils that we use to scent our products.

  • American Goldfinch Jabebo Earrings by Jabebo LLC

Jabebo Studio created these images especially for these earrings. The detailed artwork and mismatched themes spark curiosity and interesting conversations. On the reverse side of the product you can see evidence of the cereal box used in the construction. They are perfect for environmental educators, scientists, and nature enthusiasts.

All our earrings make use of locally sourced cereal boxes in the packaging and in the base material of the earrings themselves. Their attractive clear coat helps to resist damage from water and UV light. They are designed and produced in our studio located in downtown Bellefonte, Central Pennsylvania. The inspiration for our business is biodiversity and the natural habitat and community that supports it, particularly through public lands where you and your family and friends can experience it. When you visit nature centers, parks, and wildlife refuges around the country be sure to look for a gift shop in the visitor center where you may find Jabebo Earrings for sale. If you find yourself in Central PA then come visit our studio and store in historic downtown Bellefonte for a tour of our brick and mortar studio and store.

  • Spring Tulips Hand-Dyed Scarf by Artwork by Julie Mader

Did you know there are 3,000 registered varieties of tulips? Tulips have an absolutely fascinating history and part of their recent history was a red tulip with white fringe becoming the symbol of hope for Parkinson's Disease in 2005.  The design of this silk scarf was inspired by those tulips.

One dozen tulips surrounded by a white border grace this soft silk scarf designed and handpainted in the PA Wilds. The tulip motifs were drawn by hand on both ends of the scarf before the stunning scarlet red background was added by the artist. Once painted, Julie wraps each piece separately and sets the dye permanently to the silk fibers using steam. She has chosen to use water soluble resist and steam setting to avoid the use of chemicals for all of her silk art.

100% silk. 11" wide, 60" long*.  Hand wash.

Designed and handpainted in Smethport, Pennsylvania

*measurement may vary slightly due to shrinkage during the dye setting process
