Author Kevin Coolidge (who you can find right here on the PA Wilds Marketplace!) brings the characters in his The Totally Ninja Raccoons books into the real world! Now for the fourth time, Kevin invites families to search for the Raccoons throughout businesses in Wellsboro in the annual “Where Are The Totally Ninja Raccoons?” town-wide search. The trio of brothers who star in the children’s book series are playing hide-and-seek throughout Wellsboro, starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 1. Throughout July, folks can find illustrations of the Raccoons in 30 local businesses!

The PA Wilds Conservation Shop Mobile Unit has opened for the season at Hills Creek State Park, starting May 5. The shop was relocated due to construction that is scheduled this summer and fall at Leonard Harrison State Park. The new location for the PA Wilds Conservation Shop mobile unit is 111 Spillway Road, Wellsboro, PA 16901. Shop hours will remain the same as they were before, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Monday.
