Whether it’s a luxurious log cabin or a humble place to rest your head after hunting, your PA Wilds camp is your home-away-from-home.
How often have you heard someone (or have you said yourself), “We’re heading up to camp for the weekend!” Many times, they don’t mean a tent in the woods. Rather, it’s a simple place to call home while you’re hunting, fishing, hiking, paddling or otherwise just enjoying the PA Wilds. In our PA Wilds region, you’ll see camps all over the place. However, you’ll especially find these camps in Elk Country and the Dark Skies landscape of Potter County, known as God’s Country.
Many people use their camps or cabins for hunting excursions. However, even outside of hunting season, these camps provide a place where people can slow down and escape their daily routines. Group meals, campfires, good drinks, card games and lots of laughter are the key to the quintessential camp experience.
You want your camp to feel as comfortable as your home, while still maintaining that sense of ruggedness and escape from the “real world.”
The PA Wilds Marketplace has plenty of products that can help you decorate your camp, as well as fun things to add to the camp to keep people entertained and well-fed.
